Google Earth KML Severe Weather
Create a Severe Weather Google Earth Network Link
Click on the following link to set up a network link in Google Earth to view yesterday's severe weather in the United States as reported to NOAA. Severe weather includes Tornadoes, hail over 3/4 inch in diameter, and wind gusts in excess of 60 mph. Data to create the Google Earth layer comes from NOAA Storm Prediction Center.
Note - You must have Google Earth installed on your computer to view the information in the link below. These links will always show the Current Day's Weather or the Previous Day's Weather each time you open the layer.

By selecting a date and pressing the Get KML button, a KML layer for the selected date will be generated. This is not a network link like above, but a static KML layer for Google Earth.
